OK - I'm still here!

Looking at my web stats, I was suprised to find how many of you visit this blog! Can't think why, but perhaps I need to keep it going.

I am just recovering from my experience dealing with Amazon.

This is NOT about Amazon's product sales, which I have found to be excellent, but about their internal administration, which I have found to be awful.

I am both a buyer, and a seller. Recently, they asked me to merge my two accounts, and this I attempted to do. But then I found I could no longer log into my merchants account. Rather than help me, Amazon, who seem to like to keep their dot com business separate from their dot co dot uk business refuse to help, and say I should open a new account.

So - I lose the money sitting in the account, awaiting payment, and I have to re-coded hundreds of pages to the new account.

Not much fun.
