School Refusers

Times Online has published a list of 'tips' for coping with children who refuse to attend school, based on a book by Antonia Chitty.

What is extraodrinary about this list is the things it does not say. One is left wondering at the depth of knowledge of the author, and where her material came from. It ignores medical aspects of this problem, concentrating on the educational, and fail to mention home education as an alternative.
